QuantumOps browser extension 0.33.0

  • You hear about it when your sign-in ends. Your QuantumOps sign-in is kept in memory only, so an extension update or a browser restart ends it, and the extension signs you back in by itself when it can. When it can't, it now says so instead of waiting for you to open the panel: the toolbar icon shows an orange "!", and if Desktop alerts are on in Options you get one notification, "Sign in to QuantumOps again"; clicking it opens the sign-in. The panel, the dispatch board and Options say what ended your sign-in and when, with a Sign in button. Signing out yourself never triggers any of this.
  • Fewer sign-ins after a network hiccup. When the sign-in service can't be reached, the extension tries again after 1, 5 and 15 minutes before it asks you, and opening a panel while signed out makes one more automatic attempt.
  • Options shows the last automatic sign-in and why it ended as it did. Your next check-in tells your QuantumOps server the same thing: a short reason code, what started the attempt and a time, nothing else. Your administrator can then see on the Extension adoption page who was signed out and why.
  • Needs server build S2610.152 or later (0.32.0 needed S2610.151): that build stores the sign-in report. An older server ignores it. No new permission.
